Sumerset Customer Testimonials
Bundy Testimonial March 2006

Steve,
Amanda and I are Sumerset’s new biggest fans. In my first email, we commented on our high level of satisfaction with the sales/marketing and the design phase of our houseboat purchasing experience. Now we are in the middle of what I thought would be the hardest part, the waiting. However, Sumerset’s web based daily photos allow the customer to in effect; take a site visit to observe the day’s construction. Each day we eagerly await the progress photos so we can learn more about our new Sumerset. Nancy Rimas has done an outstanding job taking our photos. And per our request, she is giving us a play-by-play for each day’s progress. This is truly a first class service and one of the features which surely sets apart the “Sumerset Experience” from that of other manufacturers.

Greg,
Good news. Our new Sumerset is going to be complete this week. And if our timing could not get any better, we sold our present houseboat this past weekend. Please have our 2001 Lakeview taken down or listed as ‘Sold’ if you wish to keep it up use it as a marketing proof statement. We’re excited and looking forward to our delivery of our new Sumerset, “Simply Irresistible.” Please feel free to add our names to your list as a reference for you and Sumerset. A recommendation on our part is so easy when you and Sumerset are so good at setting expectations and then over-delivering. You and the entire Sumerset team have been a pleasure to work with and have exceeded our expectations is so many ways. Nancy Rimas and Greg Baldwin are fantastic and make the production experience exciting and fun. Thank you.
Best Regards,
Jerry and Nancy Harden
Walczuk Testimonial February 2006

Steve, first of all it is rare that I write a letter to thank and compliment a company or individuals I do business with personally. The primary reasons are they don’t exceed my expectations and I usually don’t want to take the time. However my experience with Sumerset Houseboats and Holiday Boat Sales did exceed my highest expectations so I had to take the time to write.
My wife and I love our new Sumerset. We were previous “Sumersetters” on a 1998 16×73 and enjoyed it so much we finally decided to build a New 2006 18x 85. What a boat!! The excellence in craftsmanship and finish are beyond compare. It is absolutely beautiful. Of course, I expected that. What I did not expect was the fabulous experience of designing, decorating and building this new boat. Your team at Holiday Boat Sales is terrific. JR, Peter, Wanda, Brian, Tim, Sara, Paul and the rest of the team are truly professional, know what they’re doing and made the entire process from design to delivery thoroughly enjoyable.

Subject: Building Our Custom Sumerset
Steve,
It was great to meet you yesterday. We are very excited about our new boat. Yesterday began with some trepidation but ended all smiles as far as Amanda and I are concerned. This is a big commitment for us and my wife was very worried about how our boat would look. Your entire team did a great job and made us feel like family. We are most appreciative.

Happy New Year to you and all our friends at Sumerset. We finished our first season with the new boat in October and it now is lined up in the marina parking lot with the other Sumersets for the winter.
We are very pleased with our new Sumerset and if you ever need a reference for a potential customer, we would be glad to help. We are anxiously waiting for April when the boat goes back in the water for the new season.
Take care.

To: Steve Lochmueller
Subject: Advisory Board
Dear Steve:
It was truly a privilege to have been a small part of such a class organization as Sumerset houseboats. I hope our time served on your Advisory Board was as beneficial for Sumerset as it was for Myra and Chips. You afforded us an opportunity to be associated with a progressive, industry leading company plus an outstanding group of people. Myra and I wish to thank you not only for the gifts we have received, but the friendships that have developed from being on the Advisory Board. We will wear our jackets with pride and you can count on us to continue to promote Sumerset whenever and wherever possible.
Sincerely,
Chips & Myra Kinnebrew - “FIRST STAR”

To: Steve Lochmueller
Subject: Thank You Team Sumerset!
Dear Steve:
Thanks for all the great pictures. I don’t know what we’re going to do with ourselves now, we’ve become picture junkies. Then on top of that we have to now wait for our boat to arrive. I hate waiting. Anyway, thanks to everyone for their part for making our boat.
I’ll say it again, TEAM SUMERSET ROCKS!!!!! ~Dan & Kim Fitzbuck

For anyone that is thinking about getting a Sumerset please read our story. We got our first Sumerset on August 24th 1998 after having smaller boats for many years. The thought of buying a large houseboat was very scary at first but we wanted more room for all the family and friends to come to the lake. Our Sumerset was great and was more than we had expected (we did not have an opportunity to plan the boat). After buying our boat we went yearly to the Houseboat Shows in Kentucky looking at all the different boat companies, but Sumerset was always the best. (more…)
