Sumerset Announces International Sales Team
October 1st, 2006 by Sumerset in Company
Sumerset Houseboats has made a decision to place far more emphasis on the vast potential of markets outside of the United States. Amongst other measures, we will be upgrading the level of services and support to existing customers, while at the same time expanding distribution in markets not traditionally served.
Effective October 1, 2006, a new International Sales team will be coming on board at Sumerset Houseboats. This group of individuals is experienced in the international marine business, and is eager to start working to expand the Sumerset brand name as well as its global distribution. I’d like to briefly introduce you to our new members:
Hernan Garcia: Hernan is Argentinean and has been living in the United States for the past 15 years. Hernan is a Naval Engineer, and has multi-year experience in international sales and business development of numerous recreational boat brands.
Barry Bailey: Barry was born in the United States, but has been living in the Asia-Pacific region for the last 17 years, currently based in Australia. Barry is a certified captain and avid boater, and just like Hernan, brings with him many years of experience in managing marine sales and business development in many countries.
Gerard Goosen: Gerard was born and lives in The Netherlands. Through many years in the marine retail and wholesale business, Gerard brings with him a wealth of business development knowledge and hands-on dealer operational improvement practices.
Hernan, Barry and Gerard are planning to visit future boats shows as part of our team.
We are pleased to have these gentlemen join the Sumerset family!
