Bosserman Testimony

May 16th, 2008 by Sumerset in Testimonials

Dear Nancy:

Mary and I were happy to hear from you. I hope Sumerset Houseboats continue to be successful in the boating world. I have enclosed the survey I received from you. I would like to make the following comments:

I am starting today, May 16, 2008, and working through June 2007.

Kenny Roberts came on Monday, May 5, at 9:00 a.m. and left on Friday, May 9, at 12:00 noon. I am enclosing a list of items he and Greg Conklin worked through prior to his arrival and throughout the week. I would like to say first, that you have a highly skilled, diamond gem in Kenny. His attention to my concerns and his understanding of the Sumerset philosophy as well as his skills and abilities are unmatched in the boating industry. He listened, gave advice and he fixed everything wrong with my Sumerset Houseboat. Steve was right when he told me I would like Sumerset even better after I received the boat than before! Greg Conklin responded to my emails and phone calls concerning my problems. I would like to thank him and Tina for their full support.

In June of 2007 when I walked in the Sumerset building Alicia greeted us and made us feel like we wanted to be there. The next person we met was Greg Smith. He answered questions and of course did an excellent job promoting Sumerset Houseboats. During the next two weeks he called me with answers to all my questions. In fact, some of those days he was on vacation.

After looking and touring five other boat manufacturers, Mary and I made the decision to buy a Sumerset. That was when we met Greg Baldwin. Greg worked with me almost daily for four months. Looking up, checking, rechecking my questions and changes as we went through the Sumerset process. Greg’s work ethic and attention to detail makes him a total asset to your company. Thank you Greg!

Mary and Donna designed the interior; carpeting, furniture, window coverings, bedspreads… The oak interior that Mary and I chose along with the design made our houseboat look beautiful. Like everyone else we worked with, all phone calls and emails to Donna were returned promptly and professionally.

In summary, I would like to thank all of the people we dealt with. Your daily pictures on the Internet of the manufacturing process of our boat gave us a feeling that we were on the production line. There were at least a dozen of our friends following the process of construction. I would like to salute the men and women who built our boat. From sticks and metal and fiberglass a beautiful Sumerset Houseboat was created.

We are looking forward to spending the summer of 2008 and beyond on our boat!

With best wishes for continued success,
Mary and Dick Bosserman
